Bruchwelten is the collection of works I did after I switched from the deluge as midi-mastermind and for a short time the torso t-1 to ableton push 3 standalone. I am still working out the kinks regarding premixing in standalone to mixing in ableton live and how to integrate developement of sound into the tunes. Latter seems to be THE value proposal of the push 3 and i am delighted to see it work that easily. But i'm still in the baby shoes of creative expression for that technology.
Half the tracks were developed from melodic ideas played on a midi-keyboard, half from starting with harmonic ideas and putting them into a max4life euclidean patch i made. This patch is the reduced idea of a program i worked out in max/msp a few years ago. I think it's going in a nice direction, but i want to improve little elements of it (cut-off numbers for chords for which notes to use for impuls 1 vs impuls 2, continuity of the rhythm after changing notes in the chords).
All in all, most song leave lots of elements to improve, but i think most of the beauty is captured and since i want to move on, i move on.
